Meridian FFA will be conducting personal growth by inviting freshman students to compete in the Creed CDE. This CDE allows students to better themselves by practicing their public speaking, memorization, and presentation skills. This meeting also gives members the chance to apply for Greenhand and Chapter degrees, which further members' FFA knowledge and experience.  Degrees are levels of participation and accomplishment in the FFA organization. Meridian FFA awards degrees based on applications from students, AET record keeping, and advisor approval.

This meeting will take place at Mountain View High School in the evening.  Members should wear official dress. Creed runoff will occur beforehand and determine which top members will present the FFA Creed in front of the Meridian FFA chapter, advisors, and family members.

The Meridian FFA chapter fairbooth is a great way to generate money for our chapter.  We supply the community with beverages and food through the Meridian FFA chapter. We use the money raised for traveling expenses to attend FFA events such as State Leadership Conference and State CDE's in Moscow, Idaho. We hope that many members will come and participate in helping in the fairbooth so that we can ensure that we have as much member participation that we can get.

  2/19/2019  - National FFA Week
National FFA week is an opportunity for FFA members to raise awareness of the opportunities available through this organization to the rest of the student body as well as staff at their home high schools. This week in the West Ada School District typically includes visual displays within all five high schools, wearing FFA gear, and a community appreciation breakfast at the end of the week. This year Meridian FFA is hoping to add an in-school activity during lunch at each of the five high schools, as well as an informative and entertaining video to be run during video announcements at all five high schools.
  2/22/2019  - Community Appreciation Breakfast
This is a complimentary breakfast that the Meridian FFA organizes and puts together at the Meridian Career and Technical Center. It is designed to recognize community members, teachers, and other supporters of our chapter and to show that we truly appreciate their help and support for all of our FFA activities during the year.
